Because it’s actually straight people trying to divide the LGBT community. I remember reading that the LGB alliance, for example, was like 90% straight. If we are divided and have infighting, it’s easier to discriminate us, but in practice only a VERY small minority of mostly gay men actually support these groups (emphasis on minority, most gay men support trans rights and do not fall for this!)
