Happy with overall podium but Ami definitely deserved better score in free skate. I would’ve had Ami silver + Kaori bronze, but then I’m also a fan of Kaori+ it’s her retirement so I’m slightly conflicted on how to feel 😭

my favourite didn’t win, but my second favourite did so I’ll take it. I’ll miss Kaori so much. she was a symbol of hope at the last Olympics and for this entire quad. she’s given us everything she could. When I saw her waving to fans in the warm up just before doing the triple Lutz combo I knew she’d get gold. Amazing! What a wonderful performance, she had so much fun omg so happy for her. Sad for Kaori but her program didn’t do it for me today.
