If you don’t support any team there’s generally no trouble, just don’t get too drunk or insult the locals. * It’s better to seat in the “Platea” Section, which is generally behind the subsititute benches. Tickets are about $90 USD, so that means that generally a better fanbase gets in that zone. The cheapest seats are generally in the “Sol” (sun) section. In my opinion, worse fans go there. * You can wear anything. You can purchase a pirated Tigres jersey outside the stadium for around $15-20 USD if you want, but they’re generally crap quality. I’d say to avoid wearing Rayados (the opposing team) jerseys and colors (white and blue) nothing bad will happen to you but you could get some insults because of it, such as “Pinche gringo” or something like that. * The stadium seats are always pre-sold to season pass ticket owners, but there are two ways to get tickets: 1- Download the “Boletomovil” app. It’s has a green and white icon with an elephant. It works as a secondary market where season pass owners that will not attend the game “rent” their places for other people to attend. You’ll get your digital tickets in the app and the guards will scan the QR for you to enter. This is the best and the safest way. Although for us locals it’s a bit expensive. Platea goes for about $90 USD per ticket. 2- You could also get to the stadium and buy some “cortesías” off some locals. People offer tickets that were handed to them from their workplaces and try to sell them quickly before the game. I wouldn’t recommend that to foreigners. Also, leave the place you’re staying with enough time spare. 1 and a half or 2 hours before the game starts. Haven’t got a clue, bro. This is only for the Tigres’ stadium. I haven’t seen Rayados’ tickets on Boletomovil. On the other hand I know that Pachuca also uses Boletomovil, so maybe other Liga MX teams do as well.

Anywhere in the lower “50 yard” area on either side is super safe. It could only be unsafe if you went into the Tigres ultra behind the goal, and acted like a fool. Like you could go there with your Rayados shirt and try to make fun of everyone and they would just laugh at you. You’d have to cross a lot of lines, and for Rayados to win, for them to do something about it and for no one to intercede. If you don’t get into anything personal with anyone else no one cares. Subway is the best option 10 (58 cents) pesos for a single ride (app needed). Uber gets expensive the closer to the stadium and the match, a good recommendation is taking the subway far from the stadium, like downtown, then get an Uber. Bringing your car needs reserving your parking in boletomovil, like some one else said, plus San Nicolás has a 0 tolerance policy on alcohol. Each beer (2 12oz bottles) is around 150 pesos (8-9 USD), 32oz prepared drinks are around 200-250 pesos. Expect to pay around the same for food. Depending on what you wanna pay (this is prolly the highest cost match) prices can go from 3k to 8k pesos with scalpers. There will be no tickets, it is probably sold out now. Again, you wanna get as early as possible so you can talk with the scalpers. Best zone imo is the A section (down part of the stadium). Door 8A (Preferente) which is the section in front of the cameras (sun zone?).
