The problem with our team is not that we lack talent but structure. A team’s core is it’s midfield. A World Class team plays to it’s midfields strength. Our Midfield’s strength is it’s physicality. Hence, our philosphy should’ve been Gegenpressing. However our Forwards don’t press. So we either change our attack or the midfield. Until we do that we won’t be successful.

Not really a good game, but Valencia had maybe one decent chance. Madrid created fairly amount of chances. Still a lot of negative aspects that plague the team. A lot of inconsistent press, not really intense pressure, not winning enough duels, and second balls. Like the most elementary stuff is something they fail on. But obviously the level is not really excellent throughout the game. Doesn’t really seem like a step forward. Hopefully Trent is fully recovered and can count on him. He seems offensively to create a lot of chances, and can rejuvenate the counter attacking play.
