Did anyone notice how bad this referee’s positioning was even before it became obviously noticeable, like at the beginning, I was thinking to myself “this dude is constantly screening Casado while standing within the triangle?” Dude literally cuts off possible lanes to Casado or standing way too close to Casado pressuring him and limited one direction of his in passing space or dribble space if Casado needed to go that direction.

Big fan of Bernal, but at the moment I think Casado is a bit better. Bernal honestly didn’t look comfortable against Albacete. Casado has proven to be ready for big games. He’s had great performances against Atleti and in the CL as well.
