This is what I was telling my mother. Where I live, apparently a lot more money goes towards tax breaks for landlords than for social housing, homelessness and rent assistance *combined*, yet poor people are their own reason for being poor? I’m just reading [this book](https://www.amazon.ca/dp/1250391237?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title), Careless People, about working at Facebook. It sounds absolutely awful and toxic. I’m currently on a few chapters about how fake Sheryl Sandberg is. Treated her staff like garbage and lied about missing a plane that ended up crashing. A lot of what we see in life is illusion and the masks people want to show us publicly.
