The intro made me cry. I’m so grateful Amy did that – I knew where she stood but it hit me really hard to have that intro, I didn’t expect it at all and I think that’s what made me cry so much. I worked and lived in the twin cities and met some of my best friends during that time (who still live there) and hearing reports from them about what is a hostile military occupation is absolutely terrifying. It’s the best place- so welcoming, a great community, beautiful, my first pride – and seeing it under siege makes me so angry and scared for all the wonderful people who live there. I don’t really know why I’m writing this but on the off chance anyone from good hang/paper kite reads here: thank you.

Was 🥹during Amy’s intro and perhaps the biggest reason is that it is just so 🤬up that we got podcasters recording special bits, not because of a natural disaster, or an int’l terrorist attack but because of actions perpetrated by our OWN government in one of our OWN states. It’s just insanity. Anyway Claire Danes was a real treat and when Amy said at the end I could talk to you forever, it was so genuine. You could tell this is a person she’s known kind of on the periphery but felt like it was the first time they got to really just hang and chat. And now like they might have found a new friend in each other.
