I think I’m generally ok if the refs decide consciously to call it loose and let DBs get away with more than usual as long as it’s consistent. But that is *not* a neutral choice in this matchup, where the Rams play softer zone with tiny DBs and are not equipped to play rough if the refs decide to change the rules today.
