Utterly ridiculous. 1. It’s not *Norway* that gives out the prize, it’s the Nobel Foundation\*. 2. I strongly doubt that the US had boats in the area a thousand years ago. 3. The US recognized Denmark’s right to Greenland in 1916, over a hundred years ago. 4. Trump is a dummy \* A lot of people are not up on their Scandinavian history, which, ok, why would you be? At the time when the Nobel Prize was instituted Sweden and Norway were in a union. So Nobel gave the Peace Prize to the Norwegians and kept the science and literature prizes in Sweden. The union was peaceably dissolved in 1905.
