Courtland Sutton is currently experiencing a surge in search interest, driven primarily by recent performances and concerns regarding his status in the Denver Broncos’ lineup. A notable article from Yahoo Sports addressed his slow start in the game against the Buffalo Bills, prompting fans to inquire whether he would be playing and his impact on the team’s performance. This uncertainty has evidently sparked heightened interest among fans and analysts alike.

Additionally, specific highlight moments, such as Sutton’s 25-yard gain on a critical third-and-11 play reported by NFL.com, have re-engaged viewers; his ability to make important plays can significantly influence the game’s outcome and the Broncos’ prospects for the season. This performance serves as a focal point for fans seeking updates on his contributions.

Further fueling the trend, reports from PFSN raised questions about Sutton’s injury status, indicating that his health and performance are under scrutiny. This combination of factors has collectively led to a notable spike in searches related to Courtland Sutton.

These stats really highlight how different these teams are built – Denver’s defense is absolutely suffocating against the run while Buffalo just runs people over on offense. Gonna be interesting to see if the Bills can actually establish their ground game at altitude or if they’ll have to rely on Allen’s arm the whole game

I think Buffalo’s defense is underrated due to early season injuries and Cole Bishop’s slow start to the season. He’s been excellent lately and they’ve gotten some players back even if being a defender whose last name starts with the letter B means there’s a 50% chance you’re getting injured in practice for some freak reason. Their o-line isn’t the dominant top 5 line it was last season but other than a B(argain)B(in)B(eane) sized hole at WR they’re a complete team assuming Kincaid plays.

TheThockter • 22 points
Their pass defense is very good but they have the worst run defense in the league and there’s going to be massive holes at safety and wr. I would definitely not call them a complete team although I still think they have a better chance at winning because they matchup well against us and Allen terrifies me

They’ve had a TON of starters go to IR on the defense. That’s not to say they would have been a great run defense if they were all healthy, but I think they’d be firmly in the middle of the pack. I think we’re currently at 14 players who are on IR, and it got as high as 19 (IIRC).

It is underrated but we’re also extremely hurt so also properly rated. It’s really the explosive plays were bad at. Like we shut you guys down in the 2nd half last game but still gave up a 65yd run. If we don’t give up the explosive plays were a solid defensive unit.

BallKnowerKing • -29 points
The Bills defense is also underrated cause people love selling the narrative Allen has no help and is carrying mailmen as teammates
L
LoaderOperator724 • 11 points
That has more to do with the receivers. What do you mean the defense is underrated? First of all we’ve seen them get smoked every time we’ve lost in the playoffs which is why ppl say that. We never get after the QB and cant stop the run. So what a stupid take saying theyre underrated. Theyre by far the worst defense left and combined with no receivers, yes Allen has to carry them. Put him on Houston and there would be no question on who’s winning super bowls bc he doesnt get scared like stroud and have butterfingers.

We actually have a pretty good qb pressure rate, especially when bosa is on the field. It just rarely turns into sacks. Pressures can still cause mistakes and allow our secondary to take advantage of off timing or off balance throws.

Allen had #1 defense in 2021 and still lost

That narrative is definitely based on his receiving corps lmao

One interesting stat is that the broncos are bad against duo concepts, I don’t have a source right now but it’s like bottom 20s in a few related stats. Bills are the best duo team in the league and that’s the play they spammed against Pittsburgh who just couldn’t stop it. I think that’s a huge key to this game, if the bills can run the ball well theyll have a pretty good chance to win. But that’s easier said than done

There is another stat we must consider for today’s game. \#Josh Allens |Category |Denver Broncos|Buffalo Bills | |:-|:-|:-| |Total number|0|1| ||||

Probably the hardest matchup for me to pick this week. Truthfully these teams are kind of terrible matches to each other. Buffalo can’t stop the run, Denver can’t run the ball. Denver gets after the passer but Josh Allen is the best QB left in the playoffs facing pressure. Unfortunately, the Denver defense is surrendering less improv plays than anyone else in football. Then you’ve got all the non tangible factors in this game. It’s in Denver. Josh Allen has never played in Denver with fans. That place is fucking loud. Their “IN COM PLETE” chant is one of the few things Brady has ever admitted got under his skin. Then you have to deal with the altitude, and from the second you walk down the tunnel from the visiting bay to the visiting lockerroom, they fucking don’t let you ignore it. And it’s more than the altitude, Denver is technically a desert. The air is fucking dry. Like my lips are no longer part of my face dry. And it’s already an unusually dry winter there. But then you’ve got the mental edge for Josh Allen. He fucking *hates* the Broncos. He fucking *specifically* hates Vance Joseph, who John Elway has not been shy about saying talked him out of drafting Josh Allen when Vance was the head coach of the Broncos. In the playoffs especially this close to the Super Bowl those edges matter. Surtain does NOT shadow receivers, contrary to popular belief. He will rotate and play the hot hand on situational downs. Don’t be surprised to see him on Kincaid on third downs and red zone. The Broncos have not run their real offense since the Jags game, and until the defense shat the bed causing Nix to try and force things to happen, he was playing lights out going all the way back to the first Chiefs game. Don’t count on seeing that week 17 and 18 offense on Saturday. If there’s one glaring matchup that could decide this game that no one is talking about it is Bo Nix’s legs. Bills defense has not fared well against QBs who can get outside the pocket and make things happen down the field or rip off a twenty yard run. ~~I’m still undecided but my two cents for now.~~ I lean Denver, but watching this team so closely this year may be clouding my vision.

Wow. That’s probably the best breakdown of this team I’ve seen from someone that doesn’t have a Broncos flair. I’ll tell you that I have no idea what to expect. It’s felt like Broncos have simultaneously overachieved and underachieved all year

No matter the result of the game, I wouldn’t be surprised. Honestly wouldn’t be upset either. I’m so happy we didn’t play the Jags again

As long as it isn’t a blowout I’ll be satisfied with it. The Texans beating the Patriots may actually be more important to my mental health lol
K
ksnyder1 • 11 points
I need Texans over Pats and Seahawks over Niners. A Niners Patriots Super Bowl would be the biggest fucking disappointment with all of these much more interesting teams. Like, Broncos Bears? Sick. Texans Seahawks? Also sick. Pats Niners can go fuck itself.
S

Imagine having all this parody this season only for two franchises with the most Super Bowl appearances to make the Super Bowl…
K
ksnyder1 • 2 points
Well when you put it that way, the Broncos have just as many appearances as the Niners. Fun fact, the Patriots & Broncos have lost more superbowls (5 each) than any other team.

No, Denver and NE are frauds so they’re doing a parody of themselves in the 2010s. (Actually thanks, I clearly didn’t fact check my voice-to-text when I posted that)

Underated how dry Denver is. I’ve woken up there with so much dried blood in my nose that I had to question if I blacked out and reverted to old bad habits

Source on the Brady thing? Completely agree on Nix running. I can appreciate his low risk football, avoid sacks and turnovers, but he’s been overly cautious at running. He’s a really good runner and it could absolutely decide the game if he’s more aggressive.
O
onqqq2 • 3 points
His legs are extremely underrated for a reason. True Broncos fans have seen it since his preseason debut. Sean does not scheme the game to get him rushing yards or TDs. I think Sean truly believes in developing the pocket passing game to preserve the QB’s career. He gave Russ a shot and learned quickly he couldn’t get it done with him. Bo is another story and I can’t wait to watch it unfold.

great write up. one thing you don’t mention is coaching. the one reason i lean towards Denver is Sean Payton. he is as great a coach as he is a scumbag.

Is Josh the best against pressure? I thought he has been struggling against the blitz this year
A
an_actual_potato • 4 points
Yeah, he does really *really* bad when under pressure from a 5+ rush. Vance’s love language.
G
gabrielleite32 • 6 points
He is specifically bad against the blitz this season, yeah. Rushing 4 he’s fine
O
onqqq2 • 4 points
Yeah Allen is going to do Allen things. Cook or one of the TEs might get a huge TD. What matters is if the Broncos establish a run game and if they are able to feature Bo as the underrated athletic QB he is. If Bo gets 1 rushing TD and 1 passing TD I think the Broncos win the game.

Not one person has also talked about special teams play. How will Prater handle being in Denver for a playoff game (he was in the Broncos for a good amount of years). Can Mims break one for some big gains like he did against the Packer? It will also dictate field position. Can a team go 80 yards for a td? Sure. You don’t want to be in that position consistently though.

I mean Allen sucks when he gets pressured it just hasn’t happened to him much over the years. I do think bills win tho. Broncos are not good
S
S21500003 • 3 points
Every qb sucks against pressure when you cam bring it with 4 consistently. I had to watch that happen to us against the 9ers for 2 years straight in the playoffs. Its why the defensive line is the 2nd most impactful group behind the quarterback. And the offensive line is the 3rd. The secret to having a great defense is the defensive line. Having a secondary like the LOB, NO Fly Zone, or the current denver one helps a ton, but they would all be much worse without their dominant rushers.

Fair warning to all…Tony Romo is on the call for this game. Just be prepared lol

I’m pulling for Buffalo because I need a backup plan in case the Niners don’t reach the Super Bowl. I can enthusiastically root for the Bills. I really don’t need Seahawks vs. Patriots to happen…

Have we ever had a Super Bowl in which neither offense scored a touchdown? Could be historic

I may have missed this but Bills fans, is Keon Coleman still being a healthy scratch? I assume no given the number of injuries yall have been dealing with. But I remember that storyline being a thing off and on this season
