Lebron needs to play with urgency the first two and a half quarter instead of waiting til fourth quarter to takeover. He usually only plays like LeBron around 6mins into the third quarter and from then onwards, that’s why his stats look great but we’d get blown out.

The current strategy requires the team to carry Lebron til the later half of the game (this includes letting him play less defense so you see him already on opponent court while the Lakers fight 4 on 5 for rebounds and let him cherry pick his shots),that might work against mediocre or bad teams bc they lack either offensive or defensive capability or both but not against a more balance team as we’d already get blown out by the 3rd quarter like the past few game (we were able to make a comeback against the Pelicans and Grizzlies but i don’t think a more formidable team would throw away their lead as easy as these 2).

Huh??? This is just not true at all lol. Bron still does his scoring, playmaking, and is far and away one of the better defenders on the team. He’s not deadweight in the first half, he just coasts a bit to get Luka and the rest of the team in rhythm and save full energy for the 4th. What doesn’t help is our bench scoring a collective 9 points for the whole fucking game. 2nd quarter we went like 6 minutes without a field goal and the only points that came about in that time were Bron free throws. The roster on the whole is the problem. They can’t defend, score, nor reliably even get to their spots. So Bron could go ham in the first half but it still wouldn’t matter since now both Bron and Luka would be gassed and you’d still have a team that can’t score, playmake, or defend.

Bron started the 2nd quarter while JJ let Luka rest Bron had 3 shot attempts during 6 minutes on the court, he missed 2 and the other turned into 2 ft, no rebound and no assist and in that that span of 6 minutes, the Hornets cut the lead from 9 to 1 (only fgm was from Vando) I never said he didn’t score, assist and defend, i said he wasn’t LeBron fking James until 6 mins into the 3rd quarter. He needs to make his presence felt, especially when the team needs him bc like i said, the current strategy requires the team to carry him but this “team” can carry no one with its current personnel and we’ll start the 3rd quarter down double digit or close to that. What’s the point of conserving your energy when your team is being decimated and you only play with 100% of yours when their lead is 10+ ?

Not gonna lie it’s gonna suck seeing this team year in and year out just waste Luka prime pretty much. Just like How we did with ad and bron for better part of their tenure. Hopefully rob gets fired soon, that’s the only common denominator I can think of, has wasted an ad bron duo that should have won at least 2 rings , n is now wasting a Luka bron duo by continuing to surround the stars we have with trash depth, another year another wasted Luka season.
