Kyrsten Sinema has recently gained significant media attention due to multiple allegations surrounding her personal life, particularly involving accusations of an affair with her former bodyguard. Reports from reputable sources such as New York Magazine highlight these claims, which have sparked considerable interest and raised questions about her character and conduct.

In addition to the affair allegations, Sinema is facing a lawsuit that accuses her of being a “homewrecker” for her involvement with Matthew Ammel, the security guard. This lawsuit indicates the potential for legal ramifications, which adds a layer of complexity and intrigue to the story, drawing further public scrutiny.

The convergence of these serious accusations and the legal challenges has likely contributed to a surge in search interest. As news outlets continue to cover these developments, they not only generate curiosity about her personal life but also implicate her professional reputation, driving many individuals to seek more information.

So disappointed that I voted for her. She did a complete 180 from her platform and fucked us all over. An affair is the smallest of her many transgressions.
C
Capital-Actuator6585 • 75 points
I am too but like we had no idea. She basically pulled a Fetterman without actually having a stroke.

This article begs to differ *rimshot*

She didn’t need brain damage to turn conservative.
R
Revenos • 1 points
Same, she doesn’t deserve a lick of peace for what she did and is still doing to this day.
H

This lady gets worse and worse the more I learn about her
V
V-Right_In_2-V • 159 points
She executed the grift perfectly. Get elected promising a bunch of shit. Rarely show up to vote, and when you do, just vote No on everything without looking at. Collect paycheck, healthcare, and pension for life, and apparently seduce married body guards. It’s like something out of a sitcom
B
barak181 • 1 points
You left out the part where she got paid by lobbyists and basically used her Senate seat to establish corporate renumeration.
P
Poops-iFarted • 1 points
Don’t forget she also had a wine internship in CA. Gotta make sure to make time for the finer things in life while fucking off and rubber stamping the status quo.
E
Emotional_Grape_8669 • 1 points
Hard agree. She worked her way up protesting the Iraq War and then shifted positions as it suited her electoral needs.
B
Butitsadryheat2 • 50 points
She’s a real piece of work.

In Arizona we have Adultery laws, so she’s probably in trouble.
L

Look it was her or Martha McSally. We did what we had to do.

Meanwhile Martha McSally is laughing while sipping tea on some conservative ranch. I guess we were screwed either way with that senate race

This is going to sound like I’m defending her, which I’m not. She didn’t steal this lady’s husband. This lady’s husband cheated on his wife. He made the choice. Her feelings of hurt and outrage are justified, but they should be at the guy who broke his vows.
S
skynetempire • 31 points
The ex filed the case in North Carolina. Which they have a law about breaking up a marriage. Which escalated to a federal case now. So it would be interesting how this plays out
P
PromptMedium6251 • 36 points
It didn’t “escalate to a federal case”. It’s only a federal case because she resides in a different state than the ex. It’s called diversity of jurisdiction and is an old concept that someone shouldn’t be “hometowned” by a state court if they are out of state. She wants it in federal court because the judges are arguably better.
S
skynetempire • 1 points
Ah gotcha. The way it was written it said elevated so not sure what that meant. Cool and thank you
P
PromptMedium6251 • 1 points
Didn’t mean to come off as an ass. (It read that way 🙂 ). Just wanted to explain why it was in federal court and had nothing to do with the merits.
L
Logvin • 1 points
I don’t think you came off as an ass at all, fwiw.
E
ender2851 • 1 points
do you need to have been in the state when this happened for it to carry weight?
S
skynetempire • 1 points
Idk thats what I was thinking. Im thinking if the bodyguards marriage license is in NC is all it takes.
M
miss_guided • 1 points
I would imagine that somehow Sinema would have had to engage in the behavior causing the alienation of affection in North Carolina for there to be personal jurisdiction over her.
S
Shagyam • 1 points
If another woman was around and did the same thing the husband would have cheated with her instead. The Husband wasn’t loyal. So as shitty as Sinema is, she doesn’t deserve all the blame here.
S
SunnyErin8700 • 1 points
Totally agree with you. A marriage is a contract between two people. The people who enter the contract are the ones bound by its rules.
M
monty624 • -5 points
She knew the bodyguard was married.
B
BeyondRedline • 1 points
>She knew the bodyguard was married. But apparently the bodyguard forgot. He’s the villain here. *He’s the one with the responsibility to be faithful.*
M
monty624 • 1 points
I’m assuming she went after the ex for everything she could, as she should. Sinema also acted poorly, in a position of power, so I see no issue in going after her for being a horrible person if the law allows.
B
bul1etsg3rard • 1 points
I don’t think that really matters. You’re not under an obligation to sleep with someone just because they flirt with you. The dude made his choices and he obviously chose poorly.
M
monty624 • 1 points
Sure, but she was ALSO his boss and did MDMA with him. You actually are defending her, for behaving in this manner.
B
bul1etsg3rard • 1 points
Not defending her at all. But it’s ridiculous to act like he is in any way not responsible for cheating on his wife. If he didn’t cheat with Sinema then it would’ve been someone else.
L
Logvin • 1 points
Seriously. I’m married, have been for almost 20 years. If someone flirts with me, I tell them I’m not interested. It’s not hard.
B
BeyondRedline • 1 points
At best, the correct Reddit answer is ESH – “Everybody sucks here.”
L
Logvin • 1 points
Yeah well Sinema sucks regardless of this incident lol
H
Hamm3rFlst • 34 points
I was unaware an affair was a legal offense
B
Butitsadryheat2 • 58 points
The wife sued under a North Carolina “Homewrecker law,” AKA “alienation of affection.”
T
takeitawayfellas • 22 points
“Alienation of affection” is a commonlaw tort, but isn’t claimed much nowadays. No one ever tries to alienate ***my*** affection. 🙁

Don’t need to commit a crime to be sued in civil court.

Funnily enough in Arizona it actually is. Arizona still has an adultery law on the books. Under Arizona Revised Statutes § 13-1408, voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and someone who is not their spouse is defined as adultery, and it is classified as a Class 3 misdemeanor. Is it ever enforced though? Absolutely not, but just a random little fact that it is technically illegal.
Q
QueenSlapFight • 1 points
It is enforced if the spouse files a compliant.
S
susibirb • 22 points
You know, I have to say. At least terrible people like Trump and co don’t pretend to be good people. They have not been shy about who they are. But Sinema postured like she was a good person with good intentions despite being just as shitty as anyone else. I hope she disappears into obscurity forever, because that would probably be punishment enough for someone so vain and pretentious. I hope she reads this.

“Sinema allegedly sent Matthew Ammel encrypted messages on Signal that were “of romantic and lascivious nature” and told him to bring the drug MDMA on a work trip so that she could “guide him through a psychedelic experience.”” Hobby Shamen Sinema
