Most the time his criticism is right on here in the USA. The match commentators here on ESPN in the US seem to favor Bayern way too much. I am a lifelong Bayern fan, so I am OK with it, but it becomes boring listening to the Bayern stats game after game. And when Harry Kane finally makes a goal it is like the second coming!

He talks about Bayern even more than the commentators. If Bayern win they are great if Bayern win by not enough or draw/lose it’s because Bayern were bad, never the other team’s quality. He doesn’t know the other team’s players or storylines, like say Archie Rhind-Tutt. He called the Bundesliga title race over on 10/18 after Bayern beat Dortmund. That isn’t a good look from someone who should be promoting the league and building interest. Even the co-commentator was trying to get him to stop.
