Recent news surrounding Simone Biles and her husband, Jonathan Owens, has generated significant search interest, exceeding 20,000 queries. This surge is primarily fueled by a heartwarming moment captured during the Bears-Packers playoff game, where Biles publicly showed her affection for Owens with a kiss on the field, as reported by Us Weekly. Such intimate displays in a high-profile sporting event typically attract considerable attention, especially from fans of both celebrities.

In addition to this adorable moment, there are ongoing discussions about the couple’s relationship, including mentions of various controversies that have surrounded them, as highlighted by The List. This combination of romantic publicity and scrutiny likely spurs more curious searches from audiences wanting to know more about their lives, particularly in the context of their public appearances and any challenges they may face.

Furthermore, the anticipation about Biles potentially supporting Owens at the Bears-Packers game, as covered by USA Today, has kept the couple in the news cycle. The connection between Biles, a celebrated gymnast, and Owens, an NFL player, naturally captivates audiences, reinforcing public interest in their relationship dynamics and day-to-day life, which could lead to increased inquiries about their partnership.

I think it is truly remarkable how well William came out of the drama with this mother, her death, and the overwhelming emotion from the UK public at that time.

William has also been very fortunate in finding a sensible, level-headed wife from a stable and loving family. I think a lot of the drama around his mother was what drove him to look for someone like Catherine. He could all too easily have gone the same way as his brother if he’d married the wrong sort of woman.

William, was sent to boarding school young to give him a break from all the media attention. He learned how to surround himself with people he could trust and weed out the sycophants. He was also quite popular at school. Then the queen took a particular interest in his education. She invited him to lunch every Sunday at Windsor, where they talked about his life and his future role. She mentored him in the family business. It was actually prince Phillips idea as who better qualified on the job than the woman who was doing it for 40 years at that point. The queen never told her way was the right way, only showed him how she did things so he had a starting point and he could choose his own way after that.

The Middleton family saved William. Harry should have been someone who had his back forever. Harry=Judas

cmere-2-me • 30 points
While this is true, I do think the queen and prince Phillip guided him toward someone like catherine. He knew what he needed in a partner because he saw them make it work. He knew what he didn’t want because of his parents. The Middletons ground William. He is so lucky in Catherine and her family.

I have always said the Middletons saved the Monarchy.

A combo of the Queen and Prince Philip and Mike and Carole Middleton. The Queen passed on the wisdom of the job. Not least because the longer she lived, the more William would need to support an aging monarch. Prince Philip provided the sage advice about palace v family. Mike Middleton strikes me as a very level headed and emotionally stable. I’m sure he’s able to offer the “every man’s” view while also shrewdly observing but offering more fatherly advice. Carole Middleton brings the kind warmth and support, and honestly, I think Charles also brings that to William too. Catherine is everything. She was also trained by the same people! For different roles, but all equally influential.

I know more than Jobson about Harry’s time at Ludgrove. He was monstrous well before Diana died.

Various parents had to be written large cheques to keep silent, that’s the polite version.

Apparently, the Claw is now trying to get the official French investigation files which were sealed for 100 years or so, for the Diana story she wants to do for Netfux. Like the UK court dossier isn’t enough of an answer. As a side note, I read here at some point that POW William has already put them (Netfux) on notice that his image/likeness IS NOT TO BE USED under any circumstances, would not be surprised if the King & Queen have sent similar legal documents. Will be kind of hard and incomplete without those three in a “Diana” story. ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯

Operation Paget, the British investigation launched in 2004, did a thorough examination of the evidence. The report is online if anyone’s interested

It’s a hefty read. Not for the faint of heart.

Not to worry – no one has been able to open a dossier sealed under French law regarding any death. Not even the UK government when it conducted its inquest into Diana’s death – the French dossier remained sealed. France provided a few documents from it to the UK, but the docs were heavily redacted. The sealed files are kept under guard in the Palace of Justice. So I don’t think Markle will succeed. She is just manifesting again, probably trying to get Netflix to pay for her “legal battle.”

cmere-2-me • 3 points
Yeah the French are not to be trifled with. When Sophie Toscan du plantier, the irish police force were forbidden to talk to any french subject about the case. The french police would conduct the interviews and provide statements to Ireland.

Now that is interesting. Thanks for sharing!

Has this not been picked over enough? There were multiple lengthy investigations into Diana’s death. Several detailed documentaries. There is nothing left to say. We don’t need another one.

Her arrogance knows no bounds.

This is how you know that MMandH aren’t serious about getting back on good terms with the BRF. If they were, they wouldn’t be dredging up the files on Diana’s crash investigation for a series on Netflix. (They must need the money really bad.) I am sure NO ONE in the BRF wants this. *~ As ever.*

I am not a big fan of Jobson, he makes way too many excuses for H.
F

I’m with you on that. I don’t like Jobson either.

Personally I don’t like Robert Jobson, I never have. He has written a lot of books but he writes about what will sell. Robert Jobson, in my view changes his view to fit popular opinion.
T
TXmama1003 • 23 points
I agree. Jobson is in it for Jobson.
F
FilterCoffee4050 • 11 points
I would not read a Jobson book. He churns them out and tries to make the narratives fit the facts. Jobson does appear on some Royal roundup shows but he is a difficult watch.

2 shocking things about Diana’s death—1. the unwillingness of the French police to perform anything more than a cursory investigation & 2. the 1-½ hours the ambulance took to drive a kilometer or so to the hospital. (The later has to do w/ the French method of emergency scene response & stabilization & not any grand conspiracy.)
R
RachelMcGill • 24 points
It seems her failure to use a seat-belt is still deliberately over-looked.
L
lastlemming-pip • 3 points
Given the severity of the accident there was no guarantee she would have survived even w/ a seat belt. Her seatbelted bodyguard only barely made it.
C
cmere-2-me • 2 points
That is common practise for celebrities. Even now. It makes for a quicker exit from the car and seen as a security measure. No I don’t understand it either.
D
duranamos72 • 1 points
The seat belts in the back of that car were either missing or not usable.
B
bobbiflekman • 2 points
Would any other type of emergency response have saved her? From what I remember, she had a ripped aorta from hitting the back of the passenger seat with her chest. Not sure that any type of medical treatment could’ve been done in time to save her. *~ As ever.*

I can see where Harry gets his penchant for revenge. Poor William His father ignored him. His mother and brother betrayed him. No wonder he’s embraced the Middletons so wholeheartedly! This also makes pretty clear that Harry was always completely clueless about what was going on around him. But he’s a narcissist so I guess that should be no surprise. But I’m mystified as to how he thinks he’s directing a documentary on his mother when he obviously knows very little about her.

I got the audible book but returned it when I found out the author’s slant is pro Harry—quoting from Spare as if that’s a work of journalistic integrity! Thanks for the recap!

I dislike Jobson. He does not verify what he writes and is, imho, a lazy guy, writing whatever makes money.

I have made a very similar comment to this.

Jobson is a sugar and has always had it in for William. With a bias like that, I don’t really care how good is sources are.
A
AliveArmy8484 • 14 points
Thank you Human-Economics for your detailed narrative of Jobson’s book, which I won’t buy or read if he’s a sugar and anti William. Netflix is looking at the wrong Prince to tell the Diana story. That should have been William and William would never do a document about his Mother. As our Sinners have stated, it’s truly amazing that William became the man he did with the help of his wife and her family who embraced him and showed him what family life is like

I had a friend in high school who was OBSESSED with Prince William. When my mom died when I was 16, she brought me a magazine clipping of a Prince William interview where he said, “It will get easier as the day goes by. You just got to take it one step at a time.” I try to find it, but all I can see is him talking to a boy who lost his mom at a very young age and he said almost the same thing.

>*”Sir Richard told the inquest that MI6 had ‘no interest whatsoever’ in Diana and Dodi’s romance. Surveillance? Bugging? ‘Outside the function of the service,’ he said”* So perhaps also “outside the function of the service” was Andrew’s Epstein connection and any associations Hazmat is making since he left the UK.

I’m fairly new to the whole Diana part of the saga, so I needed to check some dates to understand the events addressed in the Jobson quotes above. In case it helps other noobies, here’s a quick timeline (using the American date format of MM.DD.YYYY): \-06.21.1982 – Willilam’s DOB. \-09.15.1984 – Harry’s DOB. \-12.09.1992 – Diana and Charles announce their separation. \-11.20.1995 – Bashir interview of Diana discussed in the quoted material above. (So when William’s schoolmates taunted him about the interview, his parents were separated but still legally/technically married.) \-08.28.1996 – Diana and Charles’s divorce finalized. \-01.1997 – ITV debate, “Monarchy: The Nation Decides,” that included the telephone poll on whether to abolish the monarch. \-08.31.1997 – Diana’s date of death. \-10.02.2007 – Opening of inquest into Diana’s death, discussed above. \-04.07.2008 – Coroner issues ruling following the inquest, discussed above. ETF typos.
