Chanel has revealed the rebellious Kristen Stewart as the face of the new fragrance Gabrielle Chanel. “Before she was the designer Coco Chanel, she was Gabrielle. A rebel at heart, passionate and self-ruling, she freed herself to become the woman she wanted to be,” Chanel shared in a Facebook post. Kristin Stewart was an easy choice.
Olivier Polge, creator of Gabrielle Chanel, said, “I wanted to stress this imaginary white flower which is a bouquet made up of 4 flowers: Orange Blossom, Ylang-Ylang, Jasmine and Grasse Tuberose,” he adds, “These flowers were used in Chanel perfumes over the years and ended up creating our perfumes’ identity.”
“Olivier Polge crafted the perfect white flower. The only flower that could embody the unrestrained femininity of Gabrielle Chanel herself,” says Chanel’s description.
