Adrian Toomes has lived a long sad life, but ultimately he is a bitter old man just trying to leave a mark on the world in the only way he has left. Frequently underestimated due to his age, the Vulture has a lot of flexibility in the air, is incredibly fast, and his suit also gives him limited super strength. When a younger Blackie Drago stole the suit design, Toomes sought to take it by himself by defeating the younger Vulture — he is far more intimidating than he looks! And he will not hesitate to murder either. His history has often been a push and pull of affording him sympathy, only to be reminded… Toomes’ chances for redemption passed long ago. There’s nothing left now but a husk, desperate to pick at scraps. (We’ve been second place like three days in a row now, haha…)

There’s still a SERIOUS lack of Fantastic Four villains, so I’ll nominate the Wizard today. https://preview.redd.it/i4lz0id4hccg1.jpeg?width=689&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7ace9092c3aedf981f83a323639d934276a59863 His design kind of makes him seem goofy for a lot of people, but still – The guy is the leader of the Frightful Four and one of their most prolific villains. He’s basically Doctor Doom if he were a loser, still extremely competent but lacking the respect and fear Doom inspires. In spite of that he’s so egotistical and out-of-touch pretty much always entertaining every time he shows up, be it in Fantastic Four or other heroes’ books.

I post the villain stats again after #50, but Fantastic Four are currently in fourth with eight villains on the board (including Klaw). Not that big a lack of them. I’d like to see Puppetmaster get on.

Not all villains need to be world destroying threats. Sometimes they just have to be really bad dads. Brian Banner set the stage for the Hulk, by giving Bruce one of the worst childhoods imaginable.
