Man, IWC finally gets what they want after months of bitching, with the potential storylines after Drew’s win basically writing themselves, and the IWC still can’t be happy. A heel winning in a heelish way no less. What a downer. Nevermind that it was just Drew taking advantage of Cody’s emotions getting the better of him…which also fuels a potential heel turn. If there was ever a doubt that the IWC is just a bunch of miserable fucks who expend all effort to be miserable, this cleared it.

This was a PPV quality smackdown. -A fun opening segment with Randy and Trick, followed by a great opening match with Fenix. -Then came an unfortunately too short US title match, but quickly followed up by a fun 8 man tag. -A quick squash match followed to establish Grace as a threat, only further emphasized by the champ putting Grace on notice. -The last hour and a half though…WOW. The US title match was excellent as always, but not only was that followed up by an incredible nearly half hour long match for the WWE title, but they also FINALLY pulled the trigger on DREW. WHAT A SHOW
