Facebook marketplace is an awesome place. I’ve shot plenty of lowball offers and either gotten the item or a response with what the “this is the lowest I’ll take” number is. You gotta know if the items ur messaging about will be a tough sale or not. Lots of times, I’ve given a well below asking price offer, seller says no way, then a week or 2 goes by and the seller messages me back asking if I’m still interested. On the opposite side, selling is tricky. Putting a lower price and telling people you’re not taking less and then sticking to it can be way more effective than pricing a little high and working your way down bc the algorithm won’t show ppl ur item if its priced too high.
