Despite its success it still feels underrated. “Mother Knows Best” deserves to be in the pantheon of Disney music, what an amazing performance. My kiddo and I are almost done with the first season of *Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure* and we are loving it! Tons of heart, memorable characters, and legitimately funny writing. Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi are still the leads, so I’d highly recommend it if you haven’t already seen it!

Genuinely couldn’t believe the series was as good as it was. It just being not trash would have beat my expectations, but it’s a solid show. And yes, “Mother Knows Best” is a great villain song, with a great reprise.

Disney keeps *making* them because of the money, but I don’t think box office returns are what’s driving audiences to these films. It’s mostly nostalgia and/or parents who trust the Disney brand. So I’m wondering what’s gonna be the straw that breaks the camels’ back, when the spell of nostalgia and brand trust will finally be broken in the face of constant mediocre movies.

Yeh but a lot of people like them and Reddit isn’t a great indicator for what’s popular or “good”. Most people liked the Aladdin remake and thought it was good, while Reddit was shitting all over it. Lilo and stitch is another recent example of this.
